Content Marketing Manager

Status: Full-time, exempt

Schedule: M-F, 37.5 hrs/week, 8.30a.m. - 4.30p.m, including afterhours and occasional evening and weekend work and approximately 5-10% travel based on needs of the position and organization

Reports to: Associate Vice President of International Recruiting & Marketing

Summary of position:

IES Abroad is seeking a passionate Content Marketing Manager. This role will be responsible for building and executing content strategies to support awareness, demand creation, and sales enablement initiatives and will play a central role collaborating between the IES Abroad International Marketing and the Study Abroad Foundation's product management, international field-marketing, and advising and sales teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage centralized International Marketing and Communications function for Study Abroad Foundation, including responsibility for management of one full time staff member and numerous external agency partners based locally and abroad
  • Develop and maintain SAF's editorial calendar, content production plans, and content lifecycle from ideation to updating, auditing and retirement
  • Orchestrate application of curated content across various platforms and media, including printed collateral, web, press releases, news articles, newsletters, guides, social media, and email
  • Manage numerous external agency and vendor relationships
  • Own content transcreation and internationalization process to ensure English masterpieces are efficiently, routinely and effectively applied across international markets, in partnership with field-marketing teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in senior marketing position
  • Experience managing agency and vendors to accomplish marketing goals
  • Strong working knowledge of graphic design, video production, campaign creation and execution, and event planning
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in social media, community management, and SEO
  • Management experience preferred

Education Licenses and/or Certifications etc.:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, Communications, Multimedia discipline or related field
